This role requires expertise in handling high-pressure situations typical of an ER environment, making quick and informed decisions to provide optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse

• Perform conscious sedation and participate in intubations
• Conduct behavioral health watch and manage sepsis cases
• Administer Tpa for stroke patients and respond to chest pain alerts

Requirements of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse

• Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• PALS or ENPC certification
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
