Work Environment\n

In this fully remote role, our therapists collaborate in a supportive and engaging environment, utilizing advanced technology to deliver care while maintaining effective communication within the multidisciplinary team. While 100% remote, we encourage our therapists to create a conducive home workspace to run therapy sessions effectively. Therapists are expected to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on client scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Hear-A-Mind Inc., your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Engaging clients in therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques tailored to individual or group settings.

• Facilitating psychoeducational groups that provide community support and equip clients with coping skills to manage common mental health issues.

• Coordinating care by collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals within our multidisciplinary team to offer holistic treatment options.

• Providing crisis intervention services when clients encounter mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support.

• Offering education on mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and local resources to empower clients and their families.

• Maintaining detailed and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical guidelines in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participating actively in case consultations, professional meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities.

• Staying informed about the latest research, trends, and methodologies in mental health therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a mental health therapist, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges associated with mental health conditions. Through empathetic engagement, you will help clients navigate personal struggles while reinforcing their strengths and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Proven ability to provide both individual and group therapy to a variety of populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to ethical standards.

• Technical proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.

• Strong collaborative spirit and capacity to function as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings or comparable environments will be preferred. Familiarity with community resources and crisis intervention strategies will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
