Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples, families, and individuals, addressing diverse challenges and fostering open communication.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
\n
• Facilitating family sessions to address key issues such as conflicts among family members, blended family dynamics, grief and loss, and adjustment to life transitions such as separation or divorce.
\n
• Providing counseling support for patients dealing with alcohol abuse, abuse and trauma, job stress, communication difficulties, and medical issues.
\n
• Documenting client progress, treatment effectiveness, and adapting strategies as necessary while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance collective care efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include a wide range of individuals, couples, and families, each with their own unique challenges. You will focus on facilitating healing and understanding amongst clients dealing with difficulties such as:

• Family conflicts, including sibling rivalries and cut-offs between family members.
\n
• Adjusting to changes following separation or divorce.
\n
• Support for parenting challenges, particularly within blended families and other complex family structures.
\n
• Providing a safe space for clients to explore grief, loss, and emotional pain.
\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
\n
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A commitment to providing empathetic, client-centered therapy.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates will stand out with:

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, particularly with families and couples.
\n
• Experience in teletherapy or familiarity with digital tools and platforms used for remote patient interactions.

• A willingness to work at least 30 hours a week, demonstrating flexibility in availability to meet client needs.
