Customer Service Representative

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | On-Site Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, rotating ABOUT US Chefler Foods is a growing food manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. Our retail brand, Mike’s Amazing, can be found across retail, foodservice, sports venues, entertainment properties, festivals, and major events throughout the country. THE ROLE As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work directly with customers while also coordinating closely with Sales, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, and other departments. You’ll be responsible for entering and managing customer orders, answering questions, communicating updates, resolving issues, and helping keep orders moving from the time they are received through fulfillment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn how a fast-growing company operates and gain exposure to multiple areas of the business. WHAT YOU’LL DO Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently Respond to customer calls and emails in a friendly, professional, and timely manner Provide customers with order information, updates, and answers to routine questions Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, and other teams to resolve customer needs Track open issues and follow through until they are resolved Maintain accurate customer, order, and account information in our internal systems Assist with Excel reports, data entry, and general administrative tasks Identify potential order problems and escalation issues before they become bigger problems Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Jump in and support the Customer Service team wherever needed WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone Organized and detail-oriented Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and standard office software Dependable, punctual, and able to work on-site Monday through Friday Someone who takes ownership and follows through A positive attitude and willingness to learn Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus WHY THIS ROLE This is not a job where you will spend your entire day doing one repetitive task. You’ll work with customers, solve problems, communicate with different departments, and learn how orders move through a large food manufacturing and distribution operation.
