Description – What Your Role Entails

• Conduct both routine and complex laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, all following established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain all laboratory instruments through essential preventive measures and calibrations.
• Support the specimen collection process and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, assist in training new hires or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Keep a safe and orderly work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• Certification through ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout your tenure.
