Sensei Lāna'i, A Four Seasons Resort, is looking for a Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Koele Garden Bar offers an all-day menu and refreshments, sample Whitefish Tempura, Kushiyaki (skewers), tacos and a selection of light snacks. Located just off the lobby, the Bar offers captivating views overlooking lush gardens.

What You'll Do

The Bartender delivers exceptional beverage service by crafting cocktails and serving drinks with expert knowledge of spirits, wines, and mixology. This role enhances the guest experience through engaging interactions, menu expertise, and high standards of hospitality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, following established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
• Provide knowledgeable and engaging service by explaining menu offerings, flavor profiles, and pairing recommendations to enhance the guest experience
• Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen awareness, and responsible alcohol service standards, maintaining a safe dining environment
• Accurately enter and process orders using POS systems, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are met
• Manage bar operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, restocking, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including billing adjustments, while adhering to accounting and company procedures
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver attentive, personalized service to ensure satisfaction and uphold hospitality standards

What to Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Availability on holidays and weekends is required
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card and ServSafe is required for this role
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Prior Bartender experience or related work
