2026-2027 School Year Before and After-school Program Leader- San Ramon Valley, CA Pay: $23+/per hour AlphaBEST: After School is where adventure begins! As a Program Leader we are looking for individuals to inspire, spark curiosity, encourage creativity, foster a sense of community, warmth, and promote a deep sense of belonging for every child. Start Date: Mid to late June Location: Rancho Romero Elementary School & Creekside Elementary School Schedule: Must be available Monday - Friday (3 different start times available) - No weekends! Here’s What You’ll Need Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university. At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center 12 units of courses that cover child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations As an AlphaBEST Program Leader, you'll be trained to do the following: Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more! Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
