Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Candidates with the right licensing – either the 144 or 145 certification for part-time inclusion roles or comprehensive 461 certification for full-time extended resource positions – are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification: 144 or 145 for part-time, 461 for full-time roles
• Experience (or willingness to gain experience) teaching students with SLD, autism, OHI, and other exceptionalities
• Openness to both seasoned educators and recent graduates
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work onsite; this position does not support virtual instruction

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs in grades 3-8
• Create engaging lessons and instructional activities for inclusion and resource settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere in a single school location
