Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location Not Provided Assignment Overview Seeking a Registered Nurse experienced in MedSurg/Tele for a Level 1 Trauma Center. Ideal candidates will have a strong clinical assessment capability and med-surg nursing skills. Experience with cardiac and telemetry monitoring is essential. Assignment Details Shift times: 12-hour shifts; 7A-7P or 7P-7A Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Weekend rotation: 5-6 shifts out of 12 (6-week schedule) Holiday Expectations: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving Day/day after 12/24 or 12/25 12/31 or 1/1) Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1890 (negotiable) EMR: EPIC Patient Ratios: RN: 1:4-6 Responsibilities Manage post/pre-cardiac and step-down ICU patients Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Plan discharges and educate patients on renal and fluid management Conduct wound care and post-op monitoring Qualifications Required: 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience BLS (Basic Life Support) BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) - EKG Rhythm exam as part of onboarding Skills in trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, insulin drips, and heparin drips Strong med-surg nursing skills for Level 1 Trauma Hospital Preferred: ACLS certification National certification - Medical-surgical certification nursing PEL/VIP Job ID 64194163.
