Job Summary.

NPORT Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitative care in home settings throughout Orange County, NY. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the successful candidate will support patients in improving functional abilities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills
• Document patient progress and report significant changes to supervisory staff
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapeutic activities and home programs

Qualifications

• Current  Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA ) license in the state
• Experience in a CHHA or similar post-acute/rehab setting preferred
• Strong clinical documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
