OR Experience Preferred! Available Shifts:

• Full Time Mid/Evening shift - 10:45am-11:15pm
• Full Time Day Shift - 7a-7:30p
• Part Time Weekend Option (Saturday and Sunday 7a-7:30p)

Patient Population/Diagnoses:

• Adult population surgical services-Thoracic, General, Hepatobiliary, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Orthopedics, ENT, Dental, OMFS, and Abdominal Transplant (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, Intestine and Multi-visceral). Large oncology patient population.

Number of Beds:

• 23

Nursing skills gained:

• Circulating
• Scrubbing
• Training on the daVinci XI robot

Unit culture highlights:

• Multi-disciplinary environment to provide our high acuity patient population highly skilled care

Qualifications:

• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
