Agency Buyer I Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) – Owner and operator of BWI Thurgood Marshall and Martin State Airports. Location: BWI Marshall Airport, Anne Arundel County, MD. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the MAA Central Warehouse, including secure opening and closing and maintaining operational readiness. Process incoming product receipts and manage inventory issuance for the Office of Procurement and Materials Management (OPAMM) and external contractors. Manage direct calls and communications from various MAA departments to ensure prompt support and inquiry resolution. Handle small‑value procurement actions up to $5,000 using the corporate credit card, including timely reconciliation of monthly financial statements and expense documentation. Perform administrative functions related to receiving and issuing MAA warehouse paperwork. Utilize specialized MAA inventory software to track, monitor, and manage stock levels and usage patterns to ensure operational readiness. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: Five years of experience in receiving, storing, issuing, purchasing and requisitioning supplies, materials, and equipment. Three of those years must include supervisory or management experience, or have involved the final responsibility for purchasing and requisitioning. One year of that experience must include utilizing Maximo for inventory control and management. Note: Education at an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience at a rate of thirty credit hours for one year of experience for up to one year of the required general experience. Employees in this classification will be required to operate a motor vehicle and must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license in the State of Maryland.
