• Engage in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Accurately document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality benchmarks.
• Focus on maintaining a sanitary, secure work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a relevant allied health qualification, plus pursuit of ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification expected within one year of employment.
• Keep certification current throughout your tenure.
