• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing when required.
• Accurately document all processes, train new employees or students, and help ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your career here.
