Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection, and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new personnel or students, and actively contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, consistently following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
