We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient addiction treatment practice in Philadelphia PA. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity with only 2 days per week required onsite.
The ideal candidate is an FNP AGNP Adult NP or other non-psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable caring for individuals with substance use disorders and underserved patient populations. We are looking for someone who will approach every patient with kindness respect patience and compassion.
This is not a psychiatric NP position. PMHNP certification alone does not qualify for this role.

What Youll Do

• Provide medical care to patients receiving treatment for opioid use disorder
• Perform medical evaluations and physical examinations
• Review laboratory results and monitor patient progress
• Prescribe and manage pharmaceutical treatments
• Provide basic wound care
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on harm reduction medication adherence disease prevention and overall wellness
• Coordinate care with medical providers care managers and support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license
• FNP AGNP Adult NP or another appropriate non-psychiatric NP certification
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in primary care adult medicine addiction medicine or a related setting
• Compassionate and comfortable working with patients experiencing substance use disorders and other barriers to care
• Ability to work onsite at least 2 days per week

Preferred:

• Addiction medicine or substance use disorder experience
• Experience with underserved or vulnerable patient populations
• Bilingual English/Spanish
