Director of Sales

DESCRIPTION

Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis/Fishers is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our hotel's vibrant team. In this role, you will focus on developing sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue and profitability with a wide range of events in the area. Responsibilities:
  • Executing and developing sale strategies in order to maximize hotel profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting sales calls to key accounts or major prospects.
  • Expected to achieve or exceed individual sales goal and hotel budget.
  • Manage lead sources to ensure quantity and quality of all leads coming into the property.
  • With managing leads this will be imperative in seeking new customers through strategic outbound sales efforts for groups, extended stay groups and transient room revenue.
  • Conducting sales calls to key accounts or major prospects.
  • Manage the process of Local Negotiated Rates (LNR), Request for Proposal (RFP) processes (brand, CVB, third party, etc), and other booking channels such as CVENT, Online Travel Agencies (OTA).
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in event planning or hospitality preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, and 2-4 years' experience is hospitality or hotel sales
  • Requires a valid Driver's License
  • Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational with the ability to multi-task, time management and follow-up
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude working in a fast paced environment

Dora Hospitality is seeking a Director of Sales at the Hilton Garden Inn located a few miles from Ruoff Music Center, Connor Prairie, Fishers Event Center and the Nickel Plate District. A half-hour drive to downtown Indianapolis, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Lucas Oil Stadium.
