Contracts Advisor

The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a contracts professional with strong experience evaluating contractual agreements and integrating industry strategy to the analysis. The successful Contracts Advisor will bring adept negotiating skills and be ready to work with a close knit team whose critical thinking and evaluation is committed to ensuring firm and client commitments are strategically aligned and goal focused. Responsibilities Include: Partner with attorneys to develop contracts that protect the firm's interests Review and analyze contracts to reduce legal and financial risks Facilitate the negotiation and purchase of various goods & services Provide support for procurement functions Track contract performance and ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations Qualifications Include: 3+ years of experience with commercial contracts, contract law, terms & conditions Expertise in strategy development, negotiations, and contract management Excellent evaluation and decision making skills Proven ability to manage multi-party negotiations Proficient in MS Office Compensation: $77,000 - $124,500 annually Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
