For nearly 30 years, STAT Staffing Medical Services, Inc. has connected qualified healthcare professionals with schools, healthcare facilities, long-term care providers, behavioral health organizations, and other healthcare settings throughout Western Pennsylvania.

We are seeking a Healthcare Staffing Specialist who is professional, dependable, organized, and results-driven. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing changing priorities and urgent staffing needs.

This is more than a scheduling role. You will be at the center of our relationships with healthcare professionals and clients—coordinating schedules, solving staffing challenges, responding to last-minute needs, and ensuring the right professionals are in the right place at the right time.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate daily staffing schedules and ensure reliable client coverage
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients
• Communicate assignments, availability, and schedule changes
• Respond quickly and professionally to call-offs and last-minute staffing requests
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Identify solutions to meet client and staffing needs
• Maintain accurate employee and scheduling records
• Assist with credentialing, compliance, and onboarding as needed
• Take ownership of requests and follow through to successful resolution
• Provide exceptional service that builds trust and supports business growth

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare staffing, recruiting, scheduling, sales, customer service, or a related field
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
• Professional and confident when communicating with clients and healthcare professionals
• Adaptable and able to quickly respond to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Microsoft Office and scheduling software experience preferred
