Senior Training & Education Specialist - Cardiac Surgery

Medtronic seeks a Senior Training & Education Specialist to develop relationships with vascular surgery training programs across the East Coast and coordinate educational initiatives for trainees and early-career physicians. The role is remote with 70% travel and focuses on connecting surgeons with product education, clinical resources, and transition-to-practice support.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of vascular surgery training landscape and identify educational needs within assigned East Coast region
• Coordinate educational opportunities and product exposure for residents and fellows through in-services, simulation, and Medtronic Academy programs
• Build and maintain relationships with graduating trainees and early-career vascular surgeons during transition to independent practice
• Represent Medtronic at priority regional and national conferences; support educational activities and program execution
• Provide field teams with trainee visibility and insights; facilitate cross-functional collaboration on strategy and messaging

Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years clinical, training, or medical device experience; or associate's degree with 6+ years; or bachelor's degree with 4+ years
• Ability to travel 70% throughout assigned geography and nationally
• Professional relationship-building experience with healthcare professionals, physician learners, or academic programs
• Knowledge of vascular surgery, endovascular therapies, or cardiovascular specialties (preferred)
• Experience supporting physician education, residency, or fellowship programs (preferred)
• Demonstrated cross-functional project coordination and customer-facing program management (preferred)
