Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection, preparing samples for testing when required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation criteria.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain up-to-date certification throughout your employment.
