Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking friendly, caring, and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide excellent support and care for our residents. We are currently hiring for various schedules and shifts, including: Hourly (Monday-Sunday) Live-In Night Shift Weekend-Only PRN (As Needed) The number of shifts per week is negotiable, but availability for Saturdays and/or Sundays on a rotating basis is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, shaving, and perineal care. Provide support with toileting, including the use of bedside commodes, bedpans, and urinals. Help with mobility and ambulation, using walkers, canes, and wheelchairs as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment by assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, bed-making, and tidying up. Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding, and ensure proper clean-up. Provide skin care support to help prevent skin breakdown. Assist with safe transfers to ensure resident mobility and security. Support residents with early-stage Alzheimer's or dementia by offering patient and compassionate care. Promote proper body alignment to prevent complications from immobility. Qualifications Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening High school diploma or equivalent, CPR, First Aide, TB Test Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience (preferred). Basic knowledge of meal preparation and light housekeeping. Reliable transportation. Ability to perform essential duties without physical limitations. Strong work ethic and alignment with our values and mission. Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
