General Laborer
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join a busy distribution center in Mesquite, TX!
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working on their feet, handling materials, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Position Details
- Location: Mesquite, TX
- Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Pay: $17.50/hour
Job Responsibilities
- Sort and organize materials including wooden pallets, boxes, plastic bins, and miscellaneous warehouse materials.
- Hand-sort and stack wooden pallets safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and fold boxes in the break pack area as part of quality control.
- Examine products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Load and unload materials by hand.
- Move materials around the distribution center using pallets, crates, or other approved methods.
- Properly stack and secure materials and verify loads are stable.
- Meet established productivity and production expectations.
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities.
