Business Development Manager - Midwest Territory

Role Overview Business Development Manager – Eurofins PSS Insourcing. This hybrid role is based from a home office, with local and regional travel for prospect and current client meetings, and full days at client sites. Responsibilities Manage the strategic sales process: identify client needs, define and present how PSS can address them, and manage implementation for new programs. Conduct new business acquisition and close high‑value sales. Engage with executive‑level stakeholders, including C‑Suite, to uncover needs and secure opportunities. Drive and manage the entire sales development cycle from prospecting through project implementation. Research and qualify new sales targets and leads. Collaborate cross‑functionally to manage complex sales cycles. Monitor competitor activity and identify market trends. Develop action plans to achieve KPIs and sales goals. Negotiate contracts and develop agreements. Maintain and grow long‑term strategic relationships with clients. Apply problem‑solving skills to support client objectives. Basic Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3–5 years of consultative sales experience selling professional services, preferably within the life sciences industry Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Proficient at closing sales and creating, developing, and maintaining client relationships Comfortable with prospecting and quick learner Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time locally or within a region Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience selling in the staffing, recruiting, insourcing, and/or laboratory services industry Prior experience using a CRM Experience leading and managing projects Book of business within the biopharma industry Compensation & Benefits Target compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 yearly.
