Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board. Must have an active Massachusetts RRT license at time of submission.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. NBRC required at time of submission.
• One year experience as an RRT. Must have airway and ventilator management experience.
• Experience drawing, analyzing, and interpreting blood gases.
• Intubation experience.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Epic. Familiarity with Meditech for receiving blood gas orders preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1100 - 2300 (11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.).
• Rotating every other weekend required.
• Must work every other major holiday.
• RRT will work independently on assigned shift.
• Will accept local candidates within 50 miles; local rate provisions apply.
