Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development

Kymera Therapeutics seeks a Vice President to lead pharmaceutical development strategy across its targeted protein degradation pipeline. The role encompasses formulation science, drug product development, team leadership, and regulatory oversight for discovery through clinical-stage programs.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute pharmaceutical development strategy aligned with corporate priorities and timelines
- Lead preformulation, biopharmaceutics, and formulation development across portfolio programs
- Drive drug product development and manufacturing strategies for phase-appropriate progression
- Manage internal Pharmaceutical Development team and external partner network
- Provide CMC regulatory strategy oversight and support health authority submissions
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 18+ years pharmaceutical industry experience in development roles
- Demonstrated success leading pharmaceutical development strategy from discovery through commercialization
- Strong knowledge of preformulation, biopharmaceutics, and formulation development
- Experience managing CROs, CDMOs, and external manufacturing partners
- CMC regulatory strategy and health authority interaction experience
- Leadership experience building and managing high-performing teams
