Technical Sales Representative (Entry Level / Internship) Location: Waterford, MI (In Office) Compensation: Base Pay + Uncapped Commission About the Role MicroNova is looking for a motivated, competitive, and hardworking Technical Sales Representative to help introduce our engineering services to companies in the aerospace, defense, robotics, and advanced technology industries. This is not a customer service role. This is a true outbound sales position where you’ll spend your day cold calling, cold emailing, researching companies, and creating new opportunities for our engineering team. No engineering degree is required. We can teach you the technical side. What we cannot teach is drive, grit, resilience, and the willingness to outwork everyone else. What You’ll Do Make high-volume outbound cold calls to engineering and technical decision makers Write and send personalized cold emails Research aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, and industrial technology companies Generate qualified meetings for senior sales staff and engineering leadership Learn our engineering capabilities well enough to hold intelligent conversations with technical customers Track activity and opportunities in our CRM Continuously improve through coaching, call reviews, and sales training What Makes Someone Successful Loves talking to new people Isn’t afraid of rejection Has a competitive personality Is coachable and eager to learn Works hard without needing to be micromanaged Takes ownership of results Is curious about technology and engineering Has strong written and verbal communication skills Wants to build a long-term career in technical sales Is motivated by performance-based pay rather than just an hourly wage Ideal Background Recent college graduate or current student Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field preferred Sales experience is a plus but not required Technical or engineering interest is a bonus Military experience is also welcomed Compensation This position is designed for people who want to control their own income.
