Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional with over 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Magnesium Drips, C-Sections, and will be willing to float to the Post-Partum unit as needed.

Shift Details

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Length: 18 Weeks
Start Dates: 9/21, 10/5

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
EPIC charting experience required
Availability for a maximum of 5 days off
Charge experience preferred
Active Washington (WA) nursing license must be held at the time of submission
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced*
- AWHONN Intermediate*
- BLS
- FHM*

Key Skills and Responsibilities

Administration of blood and blood products
Monitoring and managing patients during labor and delivery
Assisting with high-risk deliveries and complications
Performing assessments and managing labor processes, including C-Sections
Providing postpartum care and education to new families
Care for antepartum and intrapartum patients
Ability to float to postpartum unit when necessary

Unit and Environment Details

The unit is a 28-bed facility, including various specialized areas such as OBED, LDR, and PACU
Delivery volume ranges from 300-350 per month
Management of antepartum and postpartum care for high-acuity patients
Support from interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy

Additional Information

This position may require flexibility, including potential floating within the hospital based on patient care needs. The selected candidate will be expected to engage in collaborative team efforts to provide the highest standard of care.
