Assistant Community Manager

Overview Community: Landara Apartments, 469 units. Position: Assistant Community Manager at Fairfield. The role supports property operations, enhances resident satisfaction, and ensures financial accuracy. Responsibilities Accounting & Reporting: Collect and post rent, process invoices, prepare financial reports, complete bank deposits, and perform account reconciliations using Yardi. Customer Service & Leasing: Lease apartments, promote resident satisfaction, respond to inquiries, and resolve service issues. Team Collaboration: Mentor leasing team, support the Community Manager, and ensure compliance with fair housing laws. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Minimum of one year residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience. Experience supervising staff (preferred). Experience with Yardi or similar property management accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong math and accounting skills. Knowledge of financial statements. Understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
