Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fabrication operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and supervise fabrication team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Perform complex welding, cutting, and shaping tasks, demonstrating expert proficiency in various fabrication techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery, materials, and production processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize fabrication processes and product manufacturability.
• Maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies, initiating requisitions as needed.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various fabrication techniques including welding (MIG, TIG, STICK), cutting (plasma, laser, saw), forming (bending, rolling), and finishing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled fabricators.
• Experience with quality control processes and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
