Direct Support Professional - Residential Group Home - Thursday - Saturday Afternoons - 12 Hours

Description Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) . Working Location: Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC). Schedule: Thursday through Saturday, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (12 hours per week). Role: Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Residential Group Home Program, promoting personal growth and daily life skills, and participating in community and social activities. Responsibilities Provide opportunities for learning new skills and independence by working on individuals’ goals and plans. Transport individual to and from programs and activities. Administer medications and treatments, meeting all guidelines and accurate documentation. Provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and are protected from abuse or neglect. Electronically record daily activities, maintaining confidentiality and complying with all policies and procedures to protect the identity, medical, HIPAA information. Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old.
