RN Surgical Care Nights

Alaska Regional Hospital seeks a compassionate RN for Surgical Care Nights. This role provides bedside care to post-op and acutely ill surgical patients, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, monitoring, and patient education. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and culturally sensitive care. Responsibilities include implementing care plans, managing IVs, using advanced monitoring technology, documenting in the EHR, and responding to emergencies. Night shift nurses support patients and families while upholding hospital safety, quality, and infection prevention standards.
