Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 7; Number of Staff 3 minimum; Type of staff: Day Shift 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech; Night Shift - 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech; Patient Ratios we follow AWHONN acuity staffing ratios; Type of equipment GE, Centricity Perinatal; EMR - EPIC

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: LDRP Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

1 year LD experience and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required.

Labor triage experience- QMP

OR circulator experience (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair, etc.)

Newborn resuscitation (attending delivery for low-risk newborns)

TriPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

IUPC/FSE Placement

Assist with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Induction of labor, vaginal delivery, c-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum, d&c, vaginal repair, NST, IUFD, steroid injections (BMZ), external cephalic version.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Floating Area(s): With low census- may float as PCT (patient care tech) as needed

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal blue. Scrubs provided.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Level 2 NICU, > 32 wks gestation and > 1500g.

Weekends and On call(if any): Scheduled as needed to fill unit needs. Call not required, but available.
