Customer Service Specialist

Claims Coordinator We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing customer claims and returns, ensuring exceptional service, and supporting our department's operations. Responsibilities Investigate customer-reported discrepancies submitted by clients or sales staff, determine the correct resolution path, and coordinate with customers and internal teams by phone and email to gather information or close out issues. Evaluate customer return requests to confirm eligibility, issue return authorizations in line with company guidelines, and arrange UPS call tags or LTL freight pickups when required. Communicate with customers to collect missing details and resolve outstanding concerns. Record customer complaints to support service-quality monitoring, identify recurring errors, and highlight training opportunities that reinforce the company's commitment to exceptional service. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental needs. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED. At least one year of data entry or similar administrative work. Strong ability to maintain accuracy and quality in daily tasks. Ability to maintain positive customer relationships and support issue resolution. Comfortable interpreting written, verbal, diagram-based, or scheduled instructions. Proficient typing speed and accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with SAP is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in returns/claims processing. Familiarity with customer service, data entry, filing paperwork, and scanning. Personable, eager to learn, and a team player. Work Environment This is a fully onsite position with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role is an 8-10 week contract assignment to cover a maternity leave. We are looking for someone who is communicative, willing to learn, and can thrive in a team-oriented environment. Industry is open, and training will be provided. This is a Contract position based out of Riverside, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
