Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support a special program within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit. The MPM will work onsite in Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ location and will be accountable for overall program execution of materials management, including cost, schedule, quality, and supplier performance management. What You Will Do Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement strategy, including RFPs, risk and opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and program execution. Own Material Forecast and identify risks and opportunities. Manage material budgets and support EACs. Drive purchase requisition generation and purchase order placement/management. Participate in supplier engagements and review to ensure supplier performance. Monitor performance metrics and act to address program and functional issues. Implement key performance indicators internally and with the supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to the plan. Obtain a special program clearance within 90 days of employment. Qualifications You Must Have Typical requirements: a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience. Minimum 3 years experience in a supply‑chain role. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access. Qualifications We Prefer Experience working with suppliers. Experience supporting developmental engineering programs. Project management experience. The range is a good‑faith estimate based on experience level, role, and responsibilities.
