TIG Welder - Manufacturing

Tulsa Tube Bending is looking for TIG welders. Must be able to pass a 2" XXH pipe test (6G or Roll out) with visual inspection and x-ray.

Essential Job Duties

• Weld on, and operate a turntable/pinwheel.
• Fit up of flanges, wear-backs, stubs, pipe coils and other various fabricating applications.
• Grind with flat grinder and pencil grinder.
• Use a cutting torch.
• Structural welding of pipe, plate and square tubing.
• Weld special tooling.
• Operate lift crane safely.
• Operate a fork truck safely.
• Read and understand blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Follow attendance requirements; meet scheduled hours or work.
• Follow safety and good housekeeping regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints correctly.
• Read and follow weld procedures.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to handle multiple job assignments.
• Accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
• Read, understand and follow instructions on shop work orders.
• Maintain a low rate of rework.
• Ability to run carbon arc, MIG, stick, TIG and flux core welding.

Drug testing required - Must be 18 yrs old - Must have a valid Driver's License - Must have HS diploma or GED
