Drive meaningful impact in the lives of K-8th grade students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving a diverse community near Arlington Heights, IL. This contract opportunity is perfect for SLPs who are passionate about fostering student growth and communication skills in a supportive academic environment. Work a consistent 37.5-hour week and play a pivotal role throughout the entire 2022-2023 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- SLP-CCC or open to strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Prior experience with K-8th grade students is a plus, but not required
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to a K-8 caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support holistic educational planning
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
