Role Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for a variety of age groups using both standardized assessments and your keen observational skills.
• Tailor individualized treatment strategies that address immediate needs and promote long-term advances in communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver engaging one-on-one therapies aimed to improve language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists as well as medical professionals, to create comprehensive, cohesive care plans.
• Empower patients and their families through education, maximizing therapy benefits beyond our sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care continuity.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with legal and organizational protocols.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in the field by participating in continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
