Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) offers transportation services like FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less Than Truckload), brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting Maersk or Customer warehouses or depots or cross-dock/consolidation/deconsolidation facilities through a robust network led by best-in‑class operations and technology. This integrated network will service multi‑channels like B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e‑commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset‑based, asset‑light, and non‑asset models. Operations Supervisor The Operations Supervisor is expected to provide their associates with the tools needed for success as well as keenly drive productivity and efficiency through data‑driven decisions and analytical problem‑solving. You will ensure the highest quality of the work and maximize productivity of Pilot warehouse locations. This is a hands‑on management role in a warehouse setting. In addition, the Supervisor will provide training, complete performance reviews, and issue disciplinary action when necessary. Shift: 0900 to 1800 M-F with some Saturdays Essential Functions Develop and maintain the operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures Implement security and safety improvements that benefit the company’s assets, visitors, tenants and employees Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Work variable hours, including weekends Utilize knowledge and experience of RF scanners in an advanced warehouse setting using a collection of software and personnel processes to improve inventory accuracy, eliminate unnecessary mistakes and increase productivity Handle work‑related injuries. Ensure that policies are in compliance as well as OSHA standards. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness. Oversee loading and unloading trucks Ensure all labels go on the correct freight Note damages and shortages Cleaning and sanitizing after shifts are over Providing accurate dock check scans at shift end Ensuring all freight is scanned in and out at all times Providing accurate dock checks for customer service when needed Skills / Competencies Ability to manage and multitask deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Superior organizational and time‑management skills Approachable and motivated Knowledge of systems utilized as it relates to logistics Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Company Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k + Company Match Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off Flexible Work Schedules (when possible) And more! Pay Range $60k–$65k The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
