About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take ownership of the finance function in a PE-backed B2B SaaS business. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, from the fundamentals to board reporting, strategic planning, and transaction readiness. This role is pivotal in the company's current growth phase, and the board is looking for a finance leader to be in place ahead of a planned liquidity event. The ideal CFO will have a background in a similar business environment, with experience in building a finance function and a proven track record of being involved in a sale process or a liquidity event. The CFO will be a genuine partner to the business, with the credibility to work alongside the founder and the discipline to deliver for the sponsor. The role is remote-first, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone. The company values a competitive base, bonus, and real equity upside. The CFO will be expected to be a strategic thinker, a proactive problem solver, and a key player in the company's financial success.
