As a full-time Mental Health Counselor, you will work remotely within the framework of our collaborative outpatient office, located in Fremont, California. The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, allowing you to provide mental health services from the comfort of your home while maintaining regular hours of operation: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and intake interviews to determine patient needs and craft personalized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other relevant techniques to support mental health improvement.

• Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions, fostering community, connection, and shared learning among participants facing similar challenges.

• Coordinate with colleagues including psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure holistic care and comprehensive support for our patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, addressing mental health emergencies with professionalism and compassion.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in relevant case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

• Research and implement the latest therapeutic advancements to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, and substance abuse issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required for this position.

Preferred Experience\n
