Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities


Data entry, records maintenance, and report preparation.

• Maintaining departmental financial accounts
• Placing orders for equipment and supplies as related to teaching and research
• Assist in planning and management of departmental activities
• Ordering and obtaining office supplies
• Working with the Offices of Procurement and University Accounting

Minimum Education Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

• One year experience in bookkeeping or accounts management. Related college education may be exchanged for the experience requirement.
• Ability to work with details.
• Memory for oral and written directions, alertness, initiative, ability to plan and make decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keyboarding, filing, bookkeeping and microcomputer.
