Are you a resident of Riverside County with an interest in giving back to your community through nonprofit board service? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! NORA (Nurture, Outreach, Resiliency, and Advocacy) – formerly the Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center – is seeking applications for passionate community members to join its board of directors. We are looking for people who have:
This is a full-time Board Member role. The Board Member will engage in governance, strategic planning, and policy formulation to support the mission and objectives of NORA. Responsibilities include attending regular board meetings, participating in committee work, and providing oversight and support for fund development and financial management. This is an on-site role, and candidates are required to be located in or around Riverside County, CA.
Qualifications
- Personal alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
- Ability to commit to the minimum time expectations of board service.
- Willingness to support the organization’s philanthropic efforts.
- Professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Marketing, communications, and/or social media management.
- Physical and/or mental health care.
- Policy analysis and/or advocacy.
