Project Manager - Custom Homes

Overview This company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of luxury custom residential builds ranging from $5M to $10M. This role sits at the center of everything — client communication, subcontractor coordination, budget management, and field oversight. You will be the person keeping the project calm, organized, and moving forward from preconstruction through final delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of luxury custom home construction from preconstruction planning through final walkthrough and client handoff Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, procurement, and site activities to keep work on track Track job costs, manage project budgets, and maintain P&L reporting using QuickBooks Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, interior designers, and trade partners throughout each project Oversee subcontractor scoping, scheduling, coordination, and performance on active builds Conduct regular site walks and quality control inspections to protect design intent and finish standards Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and purchase orders Organize allowances, selections, and procurement timelines during preconstruction to reduce surprises in the field Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule, budget, or client experience Uphold a standard of clear communication, field accountability, and craftsmanship on every project Required Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in luxury custom residential construction Proven track record managing high-end builds in the $5M–$10M range Proficiency in QuickBooks for job costing, budget tracking, and P&L reporting Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts Experience coordinating with architects, interior designers, and outside consultants Excellent communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership Highly organized with strong attention to detail across multiple active projects Familiarity with the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley luxury residential market preferred Benefits and Compensation Base salary is $90k - $115k depending on experience Company vehicle provided Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision Opportunity for real growth within a fast-expanding luxury contractor Why Work With Us This is not a production builder pushing volume.
