Accounting Supervisor

Title: Accounting Supervisor
Location: Columbus, OH
• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax-related activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform and supervise general ledger accounting activities
• Evaluate current accounting practices and procedures; recommend and implement process improvements
• Lead and mentor 1-2 junior accounting staff members
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization Why This Opportunity?
