Certified Counselor

Certified Counselor Position Type: Student Engagement / Certified Counselors Date Posted: 6/5/2026 Location: Franklin Road Campus Job Objective Provides assistance to students as necessary for them to successfully complete their program of study by monitoring each student's education plan and mobilizing internal and external resources required for student success. Operates in a team environment, provides career advising, guidance, counseling and crisis intervention to students. Maintains shared ownership and responsibility for student recruiting by assisting with student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and placement. Qualifications Education: Master's Degree in counseling or related area. Credentials: School counseling certification required. Experience: Minimum of three years successful experience in counseling. Preference will be given for experience in Career Tech Education and/or secondary counseling. Benefits Insurance: Employee Health Dental and Vision. The district provides $1500.00 per month to assist with costs. Retirement: Teacher's Retirement System and 403B match. Leave: Sick and Personal Business. Paid Holidays: Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks. MNTC Courses: Free and reduced cost for employees and immediate family members to attend MNTC courses. Salary Compensation Package $64,689.00 - $84,980.00 annually Work Period 2026-2027 School Year. Monday-Friday, 8:20 AM – 4:15 PM (10 months).
