The nurse will work in a unit dedicated to administering high-level care to critically ill patients. The unit comprises a small number of beds with a focused approach to patient care. Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:3 based on the complexity of cases. The equipment used in the unit includes advanced medical devices for monitoring and treatment. The electronic medical record system utilized is designed to enhance clinical documentation and workflow. Patients in this unit may include those with conditions such as strokes, post-operative care, seizures, and neurological tumors.
