2026-2027 School Year

Primary Objective: To provide secretarial support to assigned personnel; communicating information to staff, the public, and other districts; orienting personnel to their job requirements; ensuring compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information and/or direction as may be requested.

Essential Functions:

• Provide administrative support or assistance to supervisor and in certain defined areas to supervisor or other personnel in the office
• Prepare and maintain student attendance information, and generate attendance reports and letters
• Answer phones and provide appropriate information or direction
• Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos and forms
• Maintain existing filing system
• Monitor assigned activities and/or program components (i.e. school announcements, coordination of after school activities, managing Google Suite, Canva, 1:1 Technology communications, discipline communications, mail merge, etc)
• Responds to emergency calls for the purpose of notifying appropriate parties to address immediate safety issues
• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality (ie: FERPA, HIPPA)
• Promote and practice an attitude of friendly cooperation and harmony throughout the school/building
• Demonstrate strong organizational and computer/technology skills (ie: Infinite Campus, Google Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office)
• Maintain effective interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Assist with set up for large meetings
• Assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor

Education: High school diploma required

Experience: 1-3 years of office experience

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
