Here's a summary of responsibilities: Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions, administering the corporate credit card and expense reporting programs and delivering exception customer service to internal and external customers. This role ensures accurate, timely financial transactions, policy compliance and strong operational controls across AP and expense management functions. Here’s how you’ll have an impact:

1. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers regarding invoices, payments, and documentation.
2. Accurately process vendor invoices, manual bills, credit memos, and non‑employee expense reports in accordance with travel and expense policies.
3. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, questions, and unmatched purchase orders.
4. Research files and payment history to support vendor inquiries and internal requests.
5. Assist with annual audit preparation by retrieving documents and data.
6. Serve as backup to the Accounts Payable Specialist II.
7. Perform additional duties and projects assigned.

Corporate Credit Card & Expense Program Administration

1. Administer the corporate credit card program, including issuing new cards, adjusting limits, maintaining user records, and managing onboarding/offboarding with the card issuer and Concur.
2. Monitor and resolve card disputes, fraud issues, and personal balance collections.
3. Partner with the card vendor on account updates, program enhancements, and issue resolution.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for Concur expense reporting, assisting employees with submissions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely approval workflows.
5. Review, audit, and process employee travel and expense reports weekly, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and policy compliance.
6. Prepare reports on corporate card usage, compliance metrics, and risk indicators for Finance leadership.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures and Travel and Expense policies.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, financial operations, or administrative support
• Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems
• Experience with computerized accounting systems; Intacct preferred
• Understanding of accounting methods, procedures, and terminology
• Purchase order experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Hiring pay range $24.14 - $26.62 per hour.
• This Full-Time, Non-Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
• Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 5% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
