An independent insurance recruiter is a professional or agency specializing in matching candidates with insurance companies or agencies seeking talent. Unlike in-house recruiters who work for a specific company, independent recruiters operate on behalf of multiple clients and often have access to a broader range of opportunities in the insurance sector. They focus on finding candidates for roles such as account manager, account executives, underwriters, claims adjusters, brokers, and other insurance-related positions.

• Glenville, NY | Client Service Manager: $80k–$95k | Commercial Lines | EPIC
• Binghamton, NY | Commercial Lines CSR: $65k–$80k | Remote | AMS360 required
• New York |Transportation Specialist: $95k–$110k | Trucking accounts | Large fleet exp | EPIC
• Tarrytown, NY |Commercial Lines Generalist: $80k–$95k | $300k–$600k BOB| 1 producer | EPIC Key Responsibilities:
• In-depth understanding of Property and Casualty commercial accounts.
• Investigate and resolve client inquiries regarding policies and coverage.
• Skilled in marketing and quoting new business and renewals, ensuring competitive coverage/cost ratios for clients.
• Familiarity with various carrier underwriters and online rating tools.
• Manage and organize information for account renewals. Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, specifically in servicing commercial accounts.
• Current Florida Property and Casualty license.
• Designations | CIC, CRIS, CPCU, …
• Proficiency in Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360 software is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Insurance/Brokerage industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
